According to policy, the Twin Falls School District hereby gives notice that any Special Education records that are no longer needed to provide educational services to individuals with disabilities who were exited from Special Education or left the school district five years ago (before June 2020), will be destroyed on or after June 1, 2025 (by deletion from the electronic repository). Destruction of these records is the best protection against improper and unauthorized disclosure.
Please be aware that if you have special education records on file with the school district, these records may be needed for social security benefits or other future purposes. If you wish to review the file or keep it for your records, please request them from the Support Services office within 45 calendar days.
