The Twin Falls School District is pleased to announce that Heather Murray has been selected as the new Associate Principal at Pillar Falls Elementary School, beginning in the 2025–26 school year. Murray currently serves as Associate Principal at Bickel Elementary School and brings a wealth of leadership experience to her new role.
Murray will take over the position from LeeAnn Morgan, who has been named the next Principal of Pillar Falls Elementary. Morgan has served as the Associate Principal at Pillar Falls since 2022 and has been selected for the school’s principal position this summer.
Murray joined the Twin Falls School District in 2023 as the associate principal at Bickel Elementary School after returning to education following time away to raise her family. She began her career in 1997 as an English teacher in Galt, California, where she later served as Vice Principal at Galt Joint Union High School. She went on to work in the Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada, as Director of Options Programs and as a high school principal.
“I’m so excited to be joining the team at Pillar Falls Elementary! I look forward to getting to know the amazing staff, students, and families and becoming a part of this supportive and thriving school community,” said Murray.
Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from California State University, Sacramento.
