The Twin Falls School District, in partnership with the Twin Falls Education Association and the Twin Falls Education Foundation, invites the entire community to Engage in Education — a fun and free community picnic on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Twin Falls City Park.

This annual event celebrates the power of public education and the strong partnership between families, schools, and the community. Attendees will enjoy student performances on the bandshell stage, explore interactive booths from each of the District’s 16 schools, and dig into a free hot dog dinner (served to the first 4,000 guests). It’s a chance to connect with teachers, cheer on students, and celebrate everything that makes Twin Falls schools shine.

“We love seeing the community come together for this event,” said Dr. Brady Dickinson, Superintendent of Schools. “Our schools thrive because of the support we receive from the people of Twin Falls. This is a chance to say thank you—and to show off the amazing work our students and staff are doing every day.”

Katie Rickert, Executive Director of the Twin Falls Education Foundation, added, “This event reflects our mission to strengthen public education by working hand-in-hand with our schools and the community. Supporting teachers and empowering them with the tools they need directly impacts student success.”

Camille Johnson, co-president of the Twin Falls Education Association, shared, “Engage in Education is a celebration of collaboration. Our schools, educators, families, and community all play a vital role in student achievement, and we’re proud to be part of an event that brings everyone together.”

The Twin Falls School District extends a special thank you to First Federal, Falls Brand, Franz Bakery and Starr Corporation, for their generous support in helping make this event possible.
