May of 2023 TFSD identified 297 children as homeless and 245 were enrolled in school.
The TFSD reduces barriers by providing a safe and stable school environment. We can assist with:
Immediate enrollment
Free lunch/backpack program/school food pantries
School supplies/fees
Transportation
Tutoring
Hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes, and coats
Referrals to community agencies for other identified needs besides housing issues. Twin Falls does lack affordable housing and transportation to assist these families in a timely manner.

The TFSD has eight food pantries to help students in need and their families. If you need help feeding your family, contact your school’s counselor. These pantries are filled with donations from the community and are always accepting contributions.
